Our board-certified surgeons, Dr. Richard Boorse, M.D., F.A.C.S., and Dr. T. Daniel Harrison, D.O., F.A.C.S., have a combined 30 years of experience in advanced laparoscopic surgery and have performed more than 2,000 successful weight-loss surgeries during the last 10 years.
Lehigh Bariatric Surgeons® is a division of General Surgical Associates, Ltd. and affiliated with Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN), which is a Center of Excellence recognized for excellence in weight-loss surgery by the Bariatric Surgery Center Network Accreditation Program of the American College of Surgeons. LVHN has state-of-the-art operating rooms and equipment. LVHN is nationally recognized for its critical and cardiac care.
We are also one of only 69 fully accredited Level 1A, ACS Bariatric Surgery Centers in the nation and the only Level 1A Center in the State of Pennsylvania.
