Meet Our Surgeons
Richard C. Boorse, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Boorse is a native of Pennsylvania. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Albright College and his doctor of medicine degree from Temple University School of Medicine. He served his internship and residency at Allentown Affiliated Hospitals and received additional training in surgical endoscopy at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Dr. Boorse is the Director of Bariatric Surgery at Lehigh Valley Hospital and the Chief of the Division of General Surgery. He also serves as Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery, Penn State University College of Medicine. He is Board Certified.
T. Daniel Harrison, D.O., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Harrison is a native of New York State. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Cornell University, and his doctor of osteopathy degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He served both his internship and residency at Lehigh Valley Hospital. He also serves as Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery, Penn State University College of Medicine. He is Board Certified.
Our Physician Assistant
Geannina E. Schiavone, PA-C
Ms. Schiavone is a native of New Jersey. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Studies and a Master of Science Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from DeSales University, Pennsylvania. She has previously worked at Lehigh Valley Health Network as a Physician Assistant in General and Vascular Surgery.
